Landscapes News Right now we're busier than ever. Swamped to be exact! We have about a 2 to 4 week waiting list for new client appointments. But don't let that scare you! We are always starting new jobs and will do our best to accommodate when you want or need to begin your project.

Garden News It's Summer and if you've been caring for your garden as you should, you've been providing the extra water that it needs now -- especially with your pots. But because of the extra water, the soil in your pots is being depleted of nutrients so if you haven't done so already this season, now is as good a time as any to feed those plants (I like the time-release granuales). Also with the season comes lots of flowers so take advantage and don't forget to cut some to bring in the house -- and while you're at it please dead-head (cut off) any spent blooms. I love keeping my house full of fragrant orange, lavender, pink and purple roses for as long I can!

If you're planting anything new now, it is better to buy 5 gallon+ size plants (rather than 4" or 1 gallon) because they won't dry out as fast and they will take root more quickly. But if you do plant small sizes, just don't forget to water every single day during this very warm weather!
