Landscape Design
Every home we landscape is as individual as the people that live there. Our goal is to give you the best design there is within your taste and budget, while making sure that it's functional. Whether you have kids, pets or entertain - want something low-maintenance, exotic, modern or unusual - have a small budget or a large one -- we can make it happen for you!

How we begin
We come to your home and talk about your vision for your home. We find out about any hardscape items you might want such as a pool, built-in bar-b-que, pond, arbor, or patio. Then we talk about plants and whether they're going to serve a purpose such as privacy, to hide an eye-sore, etc. Or maybe you just want to spruce up your existing landscape. We talk about style, color, maintenance, irrigation and lighting. We take digital images of your property and get busy with your rough estimate.

If we're in the ballpark we'll then bring in members of our crew that specialize in the different areas we'll be working on, ask more specific questions and prepare a revised estimate based on more definite information and plans we discuss.

From there if all is ok, we'll get to work on your designs. If it's not within your budget, we'll revise the estimate to reflect a design that is. Our goal is that you're happy - you have to live there! So we keep you involved every step of the way making sure that you approve everything, are kept informed of decisions, changes and pricing, and that there aren't any surprises!

And we'd like to think anything is possible! We could spend $500 or $500,000 all in the same backyard! It's really up to you, your needs, wants and of course, your budget.

We are in the process of making this website even more informative, as well as visual, so check back soon for information and photos about different garden styles!

Until then I can't imagine having a page on Landscape Design without addressing one of my favorite areas: color.

COLOR
Probably the most important aspect in landscape design is the proper use of color. There are no bad colors - just bad color combining. My biggest pet peeve is what I like to call the "hodge podge look." This is when a garden is full of colors that don't work together. Did you ever see a rose garden that goes from white to red to yellow? Unless you're trying for team colors, it just looks, well - icky. All colors are great to use, and if combined properly can make the whole look. All white. All green with a hit of red. Shades of green. Yellow and purple.

All colors I select for your garden are in keeping with what your personal taste and style are, though I do have some favorites...
